At Infant Swimming Resource (ISR), we are constantly asked what kind of experience is required for a successful career as an ISR Instructor. In truth, people from all different backgrounds have joined us to make a difference in their own communities. Certified ISR Instructor Stacy Van Santen is a great example, and she’s sharing her story of finding ISR for her kids and for her career, benefitting the hundreds of children she has now taught ISR Self-Rescue® skills. Read her story here:
After being both a Certified Veterinary Technician and an Interior Designer, it was finally becoming a MOM that brought me to the most rewarding job ever: Infant Swimming Resource Instructor. I firmly believe God knew what he was doing because not only did my own kids benefit in more ways than I can count, but through my work with ISR I became part of the Live Like Jake foundation, which shares our mission of Not One More Child Drowns, my life changed again in a way I’ll never be able to explain. I thank God everyday for the day I googled “Infant Swimming Resource lessons.” There is so much positive energy around ISR’s team, and everything we do, I just couldn’t be happier with the decision I made to join the ISR Family.
